Nepal and the World

November 30, 2021

With this edition of neftalk, NEF in partnership with the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) is trying to bring perspectives on looking at Nepal and the World through four prominent speakers.

The world has been rattled by the COVID-19 pandemic and Nepal has also been impacted. In addition, being one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change, the country has been witnessing natural disasters that have impacted lives and livelihoods. However, there have also been some major innovation, youth taking leadership positions and people recalibrating their lives to move on.

Nepal Economic Forum (NEF), in its 11 years of establishment, has been continuously tracking the megatrends in Nepal as well as analyzing the impact of such major events; be it the pandemic, natural disasters or the country’s evolving bilateral and multilateral relations. With this edition of neftalk, NEF in partnership with the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) is trying to bring perspectives on looking at Nepal and the World through four prominent speakers.
