The Himalayan Future Forum (HFF), convened by the Nepal Economic Forum, is a platform dedicated to amplifying Himalayan perspectives on climate, community, and connectivity. Building on its inaugural edition in 2024, HFF 2026 brought together policymakers, experts, youth, and practitioners in Lalitpur, Nepal, to address pressing regional challenges, from climate risks and migration to digital transformation and geopolitics. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, youth engagement, and cross-border collaboration, the forum combined high-level dialogue with interactive experiences like the Himalayan Haat, fostering both policy exchange and people-to-people connections. This proceedings report captures the key insights and discussions from the Day 1 conference sessions.
