Description

A three-week internship program that allows individuals to apply talent and skills to harness meaningful change. At NEF, interns are provided with a research and operations oriented learning opportunity in diverse verticals to gain experience through assignments based on NEF’s project needs.  We welcome all eligible individuals from diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.

The intern will be expected to –

  1. Prepare write-ups for NEF’s publications and projects.
  2. Develop content and communication material for the organization’s digital and social media forums and provide support during events.
  3. Provide critical input towards developing cutting-edge research and strategies for dissemination.

 

Who is this for

The internship program is for you, if you are:

  1. Interested in economics, topics of development and research.
  2. Passionate about reading, writing and adept with research skills like data collection, analysis and literature review.
  3. Have an innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.
  4. Possess a knack for simplifying complex economic and political issues for a broader audience.
  5. Are open to a lively and respectable environment.
  6. Have completed undergraduate or graduate studies or want to pursue internship as a part of the studies.

 

Description

An exciting and stimulating 1-year long fellowship program that allows individuals to apply talent and skills to harness meaningful change. At NEF, fellows engage in intense on-the-job training in research, analysis and dissemination. A learning-focused model with opportunities to be mentored in conducting cutting-edge research and gain hands-on experience through assignments based on NEF’s project needs. The fellow will be expected to –

  1. Conduct research and provide support in report writing for research and consulting projects.
  2. Prepare write-ups for NEF’s quarterly publications, namely nefport and periodic publication of nefsearch.
  3. Develop content and communication material for the organization’s digital and social media forums.
  4. Support the incubation programs in their activities.
  5. Provide critical input towards developing cutting-edge research and strategies for dissemination.
