The Government of Nepal (GoN) announced the budget of NPR 1.793 trillion (USD 14.7 billion) for the upcoming fiscal year 2022-23.
The Economic Survey does not envisage Nepal’s transition towards fiscal decentralization and a federal structure.
In FY 2014-15 the sector witnessed a 0.8% growth whereas the projection for FY 2015-16 stands at 1.3%.
